Diego the Looney One

Disclaimer: This is not a Looney Toons fan character.

Anyways, I decided to try the Looney Toons style. It's pretty challenging, but very fun to do. I may do a few more of these and eventually offer the style for art commissions. With that said, I would like a critique. I am not looking for character design critiques. Instead, I am looking for critiques on the use of the Looney Toons style. I would also like a guide so I don't have to resort to heavy referencing on other characters.
